I think my Johnny Depp Presentation was pretty amazing if I do say so myself. One of the first projects we had to do was pick someone that's a Renaissance man to you! Ms. Martin was really laid back in this class but also serious! We could whatever we wanted and listen to our own music at "work time." Don't worry though, I passed her class easily, she makes it look hard but the truth of the matter is if you get your stuff done in class you don't have homework in this class!

The Jacobin
The role of Jacobins was to control the eruption of conflicts, in charge of the monarchy, order the subjects on what roles to play among others. Jacobins was a well-known club based on politics, during the French Revolution. The Jacobin’s were a democratic group forced in 1789 in Paris. They were the awakening of the French revolution! It was the most famous and influential political club in the development of the French revolution. It was formed by the Versailles that was present at the estate general. It was attended in secret and there was very little record about what had happened at this meeting. All citizens were allowed to enter and even foreigners were welcomed. Members were usually the elite of their local societies, but they also included artisans and tradesmen. The club's objectives were defined as: to discuss in advance questions to be decided by the National Assembly; to work for the constituent of the declaration of the rights of man and to correspond with other societies of the same kind which should be formed in the realm. There were to be a new president elected every month, four secretaries, a treasurer, and committees to present. If someone didn’t agree with the same idea as the present they would be expelled! Another club that was popular were the Feuillet’s Club but they were far less success than the Jacobins, surviving barely a year before its members were arrested. The Jacobin’s had multiple goals such as providing universal suffrage, a strong central government, public education, and the separation of church and state. Members of Jacobin clubs were among the mob invaded the Toiletries on August, 10, 1792. They also supported the execution of Louis XVI. They regulated the price of food and protected France's borders from invading forces. The Jacobin’s loved changing France from a monarchy to a democratic republic.
